Ryan Terrell is a communications and political consultant who's lived 9 years in Leon County. His long record of advocacy and service to others includes two stints working for the Florida House of Representatives, first as a Redistricting Analyst for the House Minority Office, then later as one of the youngest Legislative Aides in the chamber's history. He has held local, state, and national roles in the Democratic Party, and is known in particular for his advocacy on behalf of rural areas, families in poverty, marginalized communities, victims of sexual assault, children, and the working class.
Ryan Terrell ran in the 2019 special election for District 7 after experiencing the third strongest storm to hit the continental United States - Hurricane Michael. He emerged as a leading voice for the various recovery issues facing our Panhandle, and continues speaking out and fighting for the aid our communities need!
